Partnership with the Veggera Project

Description: ethnographic and community research in the Cretan mountain village of Eleytherna for the purposes of the cultural initiative “The Veggera Project”, led by Irene Ampoumogli.

AIm of the Veggera Project: to facilitate intergenerational knowledge exchange among women, encourage critical reflections on the power of women in all aspects of social life as well as encourage local women’s initiatives for creative action.

Aim of Partnership: An exploration on methodologies of community engaged research praxis and the provision of advise and assistance to the project leader on how to facilitate intergenerational knowledge exchange among women living in a mountain community of Crete.

Duration of project: 2019-2020.
